Hi all,

What does the set back option do? I thought it might be a way to stop the rad running full length of an edge, so it's "set back" from a point, only in V11 doesn't seem to do anything?
Also in version 11 wasn't this going to be an option? I remember reading about it somewhere, some extra options to stop rads in places?

In TurboCAD set back refers to the distance back from a corner that the constant radius ends, where the blend into the cap where two or more blends meet begins. In the pic I've got a standard 10mm three-face blend without setback, and a 10mm three-face blend with two setback figures, 10mm and 20mm. With no setback, the cap is a spherical section, with setback it's a lofted shape.


In chamfer, it's meant to be the distance back from each edge that the bevel is taken from, if they're the same it ought to be 45 degrees, if they're different the angle will be too. It's similar to a hold line blend, I guess. In chamfer it works with two lengths option.
Realising that, it's probably the same condition with elliptical blends.
