Just an idea.. it would be nice if there was an option in the woodworking tools palette for creating various profile grooves at specific intervals.

Ideally one would be able to specify a type from a small library of say Bead or V-grooves (along with the height/width), and then specify the number of grooves in a specific face.

It would automatically calculate an equidistant value between each, or you could specify the spacing distance and based on that, would calculate how many could fit.


The feature maybe could be derived from the Path Duplicate feature..?

Currently I calculate groove spacing and slats using this spreadsheet formula. (which is in metric btw)
