I have followed the tutorial of creating a snowboard to the letter. I have managed (finally lol) to come up with a surface that is kind of what I need and only now need to make a few adjustments.
When I go to thicken solid, I always get an error "Unable to thicken solid"
I have recreated the line that I am extruding many times just to make sure everything is joined etc, it extrudes, I remove the other solid just like the tutorial but then get the error.
I have attached a screenshot - can someone see what I am doing wrong?
Regards
Boyd

Hi Boyd The most frequent error for thickening occurs when there is an area of local curvature that is greater then the offset amount. This means a valid offset is impossible because it would self intersect. Are you able to thicken at a very small amount? Or how about a negative thickness value? (will offset the opposite side) Tim
