I upgraded to the latest iteration of ViaCAD Pro V9 Build 1186. My customer email me a STEP file and I cannot open it.

Here is the error message I am getting:
Warning : SPAISystem::Initialize() was not called before the SPAIDocument was constructed. Please use either the SPAISystemInitGuard, or matching calls to SPAISystem::Initialize() and SPAISystem::Shutdown().

Not sure what this is telling me. The STEP file is a conveyor. I am designing an escapement for engine blocks and need to get the file open so I can get the dimensional data.

I have used both the open and import commands and get the same error message.

I am using a MacBook Pro 2013 with OS 10.10.5 Yosemite.
