I'm wondering how this is working. I did not manage to get this done. Is there a screencast some where showing how to get the cut section automatic into different layer. Thanks

You need to hold ctrl down for auto layering when selecting the object.

After the tool has you select the infinite planes to cut object with hold down ctrl while picking the solid that is being cut.

Is it possible, that multiple select when holding ctrl down is not possible?
