Hello!

I've got a problem with importing a reference image. Whatever type, jpeg or bmp, or image size I try - it gets blurry and unusable, no matter what resolution is set, medium or super fine. Looks like to scale 200x150 px image up to 800x600 px.

Maybe there is a trick to do it right?

The only way I see - is to trace image in Illustrator and then import splines to viacad

I'm using Viacad pro 6.

Curiously, I tried to import a JPG image without success (no image just an out line), but with png my image is perfect.

have tried a png - and it works!

also I noticed that a resolution of original blueprint, from which I cut my bitmaps was 400 px/inch res, also changed it down to 72 dpi - maybe it was helpful too

Thanks, Jean-Francois!
