I did the previous example with Shark FX beta V9. If you don't have success, try to change the resolution via the menu bar Edit/Change resolution/ Super Fine - Precise Facets...

the 'remove and undo' workaround is not working in my ViaCad version 7. Also the change of the resolution makes no different.

Go to a blank part of the screen and try right-clicking the mouse and then selecting Hide All > Curves . Not sure what is it that makes the blend funny as your original quote. Maybe elaborate more. It seems you need to hide the points or curves as someone suggested so that you only have the solid.

  o.k.
i copy the ring, paste it into a new document and the blending is as funny as in the original document.

Oh sorry, I totally missed what the real problem was and I can't explain where that surface is coming from.
Use the Select Deep tool to pick that naughty surface and press Delete to erase it.
However, if you save your job (minus the blend) as a STEP file and then open that STEP file, I found that the blend worked OK.
Martin.

you need the precise facets checked in object resolution. That worked for me to get rid of the surface that fills the hole.

Thank you,
as a step file, it works, but it loses the history, what i often use, for example, just to change the rings size.
