Hi All,

You are welcome to try the PC CU v4 candidate release installer. This build is 660.

CU PC v4 SP3 CR
http://www.csi-concepts.com/Demo/v4/cuv4sp3.exe

CU Mac Symbols (26K mechancial, aec, electrical, piping library)
http://www.csi-concepts.com/Demo/v4/symbols.exe

If you have a registered version of v4, this will behave as a fully functional commericial version.

Regards

Hi Tim

A few problems that still need to be fixed on PC version

SpaceBall stops working after a second window is opened and then closed.

ViewBall pull down menu since the start of CU v4 has been acting funny. Sometimes when you go select a new view and click on the pull down menu it goes to the dynview, zooms way out, and puts the model in the lower left corner of screen.

Creating a vertical or horizontal section view in model to sheet will not show the hidden lines if the section line lies on a straight face. If you move the section line away from the face the hidden lines will show up. When doing a model to sheet with multiple models, say like a mold with a round core and 2 slides with flat faces on center of the core, when you cut the section thru the center the slide will not show op in the section view. Yes if you move the section line slightly you can get the hidden lines to show up but it’s not a true section view. Also when using the arbitrary section view tool it puts the view in the wrong place (90 degrees off).

If after you do a couple of sections and then do frame to extents on the top view you can’t get the sections to line up with top view anymore.

Open a large file and start copying it over and over and watch the task manager to see how much memory is being used before it crashes. For me it’s about 1.5 gig. Is it me or the software.

And a couple of wish list items.

In the main model to sheet menu can we have a check box for simplify curve, auto hatch, and area hatch only. This would save a lot of regen time and maybe a check box for putting each model of an assembly on different layers or use the layer names on which the models are with a –1 or something. That would be great.

In CU v3sp1 when exporting sheet views to AutoCad using export 2000 dwg. The colors were converted to the AutoCad color numbering system. In CU v4 they are not converted, they come in as RGB colors and you can’t filter colors using the RGB numbering system in AutoCad. Any chance of getting V4 dwg export to convert the colors like V3 2000 dwg export.

Thanks
