Snap to cone endpoint? (#2327)

Did not know which section to post this one.


If there is a cone solid, or cone create via solid/surface revolve, or even a cone created using a chamfer, then the end point of the cone cannot be snapped to, it is not seen as an endpoint.

Is this by design?

I'm currently only grabbing snap points on geometry with length. Will need to investigate grabbing stand alone vertices.

It appears that only the "Cone 2 points" can be snapped to at its endpoint. There is no endpoint snapping on the other cone types (or for created cones from chamfers etc).

Hi Steve,

In addition to curves, we also snap to points used by the designer to define the shape. So the Cone 3 Points is snapping to the second point used to define the cone.
