Rank: Senior Member Joined: 2/19/2007(UTC) Posts: 186		If you are on a mac: ~/Library/Application Support/com.encore.viacad3dv8/Symbols ~/Library is accessible by pressing the option key while accessing the Go menu in the Finder.

Rank: Junior Member Joined: 4/23/2011(UTC) Posts: 16		another problem, with symbols , ungroup and layers . when you pull a symbol, it comes in as a group. when you ungroup it, all the original layers are put into 1. not usable. am I doing something wrong. need the parts to retain layers. thanks for the library path.
