I made a square hollow tubing part with a few holes in it using the hole feature tool.

Once I realized I had put it in the wrong place, I figure I would try to move it.

This is where I get stuck, I do not know how

Help please

Use move face tool, select the faces of the holes you want to move by dragging or click o it, and then click the origin point from where you want to move then click the final point, direction and/or distance you want for it, notice that even shark have a nice features to work on 3d space (c key for change your work plane, x y ans z to constrain to the respective axis, and smart dialog clues), some times can be tricky to control the objects displacements, so, i recommend that you use snap to work plane constrain and change your ortho view to a desired one to make more accurate moves of your items.

Also, using the deep selection tool and the gripper, faces can be moved, copied, rotated, see this via cad "whats new" video here: http://www.punchcad.com/p-9-viacad-2d3d-v8.aspx
