I did this bike last year. Check it out in the latest Wired Magazine too. I modeled it in CU and it was rendered in C4d.

I visited the wired site but did not see the article. Do you have a link?

It is the ellsworth bike called The Ride, isn't it?

Yes, it's the ride. Was just in Men's Journal and also in Outside Mag. Unfortunately I don't really receive very much credit for the design. While the design is mentioned they seem to focus on the hub. It's a continuous variable transmission.

Hi Mark,

interesting design.

Would it be allowed to add to our CU gallery, mentioning you and your copyright of course?

No problem putting it in the gallery. Let me know if you want to zoom in on something or different shots. Also I could send some wire frame constructions etc.

Great.

Screen Shot(s) of your complete model open in CU maybe shaded and hidde-line as well as the final render would be fine.

Please add your desired name and website etc. for the copyright info and drop me an email w/ the (zipped) stuff to "][email protected].

Thanks in advance,

Norbert
