                I use extrusions of 2d shapes, angle iron, I-beams, tubing etc. and have recently been Grouping the extrusions to move or copy the entire object.

                There is no real easy way to do this without grouping.

                Somewhere in there i am sensing an interest in an ability to select multiple objects of interest and then clicking or keying in a command to say show others like. But, i'm thinking that's what the eyelids and lashes do. Maybe a more static filter like AutoCAD's might be useful. But, VC's going away, right? I STILL haven't trialed Shark. I'm afraid that if i start, i'll get addicted and might not be able to afford to buy it.
