Larry - I seem to remember when this was implemented, windows made it non-trivial to implement

I know Tim's aware of the difference

Thanks Jol, and Happy New Year. There was a checkbox added to Beta7 to "Display Snap Text", but it doesn't seem to improve a great deal, only a means to turn off the snap text display. PC users have always had the snap text display, only difficult to see.
I am very thankful for the great improvements that have been made with the Vista display issues.
Tim and Company, you are doing a great job!
Thanks, Larry

Have you tried changing the colors of snap text ?

I have mine set to green text on a yellow background which works for both dark and light backgrounds. With the default colors I was having the same problem as you.

Thanks Nick,
I've searched for a way to do just that, and also increase thre snap text size. Please show me how it's done on SharkFX 5.5 or SharkFX Beta7 on Windows Vista.
Thanks, Larry

Thanks Nick,
It's been a Mac only item for quite some time now, and I don't think it's available on Windows.

This is one feature-fix that would make ViaCAD/Shark much more comfortable to use for us with PCs.
Tim, is there any light at the end of the tunnel for getting this implemented for us poor souls?

Martin.

Good luck Martin on recieving an answer to your question. I have asked many times, and have only recieved 1 reply in almost six years. I have included a copy of my first post on this topic, check out how long ago this has been a suggestion.

Larry.
I've seen somewhere that it's an awkward thing to fix in Windows, which is why I suggested this http://forum.punchcad.com/showthread.php?t=2850 in the hope that something could be done.

I really would like to put the blame on Windows, but a quick check of only 2 programs,Vectorworks and Sketchup, I found both to have contrasting boxes for tooltips, points, dimensions etc. and are very easy to read.

Hi Tim,
Sorry it's me again asking, begging, praying that Shark FX9 will include this feature. Any chance?
Thanks, Larry

Any chance of including this suggestion in Version 15,
it's only been almost 20 years since my first request.
Thanks,
Larry
