SpaceNavigator fails in ViaCad 2D/3D v9 (#5068)

Just downloaded V9 for my Mac, and my SpaceNavigator device doesn't seem to work with build 1103. Older versions of ViaCad work fine with the SpaceNavigator, so it's not drivers or my machine. I'd post this to some sort of "technical support" form, but I can't seem to find one on the encore website or via the app - it's pretty much a dead end there for posting questions. JT

I fixed this for all builds in 1109. I'm hoping Encore will provide the update (english only updates) this week.

http://support.encore.com/technicalsupport/ and submit your question. There is also a phone number you can call.

Tim - Just saw this - thanks, it seems to work. Side note: the Encore website you reference is almost entirely worthless for ViaCad support. There is only a single help article on their site about ViaCad V9 and that's "minimum system requirements". Very discouraging. I don't see the phone number you talk about or any way to actually contact Encore - they seem to have a circular loop to all the links. I'll say again that support via Encore seems to be a dead end. Not encouraging for me to continue to buy updates. Even this forum isn't referenced anywhere on their site, so pretty much you are the only person supporting the software from what I can tell.

You have to know where you have to be. They do give fast support by email, but I have to think where it was every time as well:
1. Go to link
http://support.encore.com/ 2. Click on 'Order support'
3. Look at section "B. Didn't find what you were looking for?"
4. Click on Online Support request
This will bring you here:
http://support.encore.com/order...t/order_support_frm.aspx There you can fill out an email with your question. They ordinary answer within a day.
