imaginary intersections (#1226)

The old Claris Cad had a feature that "remembered" the imaginary intersection between two lines. For example, even if a fillet was applied to two lines (thereby trimming them) the program remembered the previous intersection. That made it easy to dimension to that point or to use it for the center point of a new circle, e.g. It was a very handy tool.

Nice John, I end up recontructing that too often myself. Perhaps there is a better way I don't know about? Art

Yes, wish there was a work around for this. Also fillet doesn't allow the center point to be snapped to either if the lines filleted are not at 0 or 90 degrees. The center point shows up in small black size but the logicursor doesn't snap to center.
Another one with fillets or arcs connected to lines not on 0 or 90 degrees the center point ends up on the angle of the first line connect to the arc or fillet.

You do need to move your cursor on the curve to wake it up though. Tim

Tim See post in beta for conditions to repeat center snap not working. On the subject of apparent intersections: [COLOR="Green"]>>>>The old Claris Cad had a feature that "remembered" the imaginary intersection between two lines. Thanks Jason
