Why no xref's in ViaCAD 2d/3d? Will it be in VC Pro?

I am confused, as to xref in ViaCAD, Is it a feature or not? I can insert a reference in the draw view properties menu by clicking on a draw view, but it does not appear in any other menu or the user manual?

If it is not a feature in VC, how will VC handle files Shark files with xref's?
