I hate when a layer has invisible content, displaying "0* elements". There should be a way to see what's inside, and to trash it. In my complex files, I have dozens of "*" and I sometimes get crashes when I try to rearrange the layers. JL

Agreed. I'm wrestling with the same problems today. And the Concepts Explorer...sigh. :(

Agreed. I think these items should be automatically grouped as soon as they are created, and if you update one, the others should update accordingly- but I suppose then this would mean having to use parametric constraints to keep them all working together. But as i said before, a simple parametric, precision ACIS based CAD modeller for £150??? (hint hint!!) :D

Here's the message I get when I try to delete an "empty" layer with invisible stuff.
Reference objects moved to "another layer"

This morning there was a small note in my desk drawer : "The pen you're looking for has been moved to another drawer. And don't loose your time searching, it has been made invisible..."
