Yes it is our understanding it will (as a 32 bit app) but I have not had a lot of personal feedback on this configuration. If it's something you are about to purchase, you might want to double check by giving tech support an email or call.

I would avoid XP x64 in general because of the very lacking driver support.

If a 64 bit OS is really needed (i.e. more than ~3.x GB RAM in total, more than 2 GB RAM / application) Vista will probably be a better choice, at least if the video driver of the used graphics card does provide a reliable OpenGL support (go for a Quadro FX if you can).
