I repeatedly crashed vcp and lost some workong time. I am not going to test this crash in other ways. When it crashed on me, it was while i was printing my shortcuts. I did not make any special selections in the shortcuts dialog nor in PDFCreator.

The print process works, but vcp instantly and spectacularly gives up the ghost.

This is yet another case where dialog windows and viewports in a session need to be written to a file that doesn't vaporize when vcp croaks. It wastes time enough finding files worked on that do not appear in the MRU if they never were before a proper shutdown of vcp.

Is there a patch that confers immunity to this failure mode?
