For some number of days, an .sab file lingered in my Temp folder. Tempted to outright deleted, something said, "DON'T!!!!!", so I just moved it into a new folder and left it there. This was AFTER I was finished with my SLT session. I know not to monkey around with temp files of an OPEN app, since some apps do not prevent being undercut by careless users.

A few days later, I reopened SLT to work on the recently closed file. The .sab file was some 150mb, and my slt file was (nicely) under 55mb.

After about a minute or so into the file opening attempt, SLT threw a message along the lines of "corrrupted file; unable to open". I rarely if ever see this message, and this time I knew it was due to my moving that .sab file since no other session activities I did would generate any temp file THAT big.

I was lucky, as I did not have a recent copy of that .slt file, and if I'd deleted the .sab I'd have lost 5 days or so worth of work in that file.

Later, I'd stumbled upon an .fdl file. I believe it, too, is associated with SLT.

If this is a "housecleaning" matter, please make SLT do more "housecleaning".

Thanks!
