Version 8 updates the GI rendering with area lights, and photons , Includes all new fast soft shadows, and there is an indispensable little shader which rounds hard edges at render-time.

Of course Shark and ViaCAD export models directly to EIAS's FACT model format (and they do a better job at tesselating the model than formZ)
