What does 'Valid hatch region not found' mean?

If I scale the profile x10 it hatches fine, also I can extrude it so there ain't no gaps!

If I hatch an area and progressively scale it down there comes a size that leaves the hatch un-scaled. Strangely, there seems to be some kind of limiting width. However, there appears to be no lower limit to the height of a region that will hatch successfully.

Very odd any clues?

Repeated found and fixed in build 797. You can use the Pen:Cross Hatch tool on this profile until the build is available.

Thanks for the bug report,

Tim

Same error shows in the above file and also within rectangles, unless you change the Object Type to lines.

PC XP and ViaCad 804.

Cheers, Martin.
