Anyone who does not need the "Axis" and the “Triad” can disable them via the config file
Code: C:\Users\%yourusername%\AppData\Local\Punch!\SharkCAD16\SFXPrefs.ini
by changing the entry
to
under the
category and adding the entry
Code: TriadOnStartup=FALSE
.

Does anyone know the correct, true, factual line to make control points reliably, permanently be on on session start? In my file, which I believe is a not adulterated, there is: ShowPoints=TRUE Under the header: [DEFeatureFilter] I just now entered under the header [Misc] variations of Points=ON as PointsOnStartup=TRUE and SHOWControlPointsOnStartup=TRUE. No joy. Ever since 2008 when I began using PuncCAD, it's never in any version of ViaCAD, ViaCAD Pro, SharkFX, or SharkCAD (I'm on SharkCAD v12) ever, ever just been on unless I manually do it. Psychologically, in my case, there is never, ever, ever any instance that I would want it in the "off" state. I usually hit CTRL+D to make the control points turn on. But, sometimes, I miss or forget to do it, especially after a crash and I'm rattled and forget to because my larger files take up to 2 minutes to open and release the screen and keyboard bback to me. So, when I get to drawing and in a (planar) view where the curves (lines) don't stand out against other geometry, I get immense and instantaneous stress spikes solely because I don't have the magic runes or seances to make the app honor my setting. It's a setting that seems to never get regression test checked. I did ask maybe after 2020, and maybe once before 2014. It's not minor to me. It's a major thing. Thanks, if anyone can solve this with an upgrade being necessary. (Even if an external script like the win 3.1 era batch files is needed, I'll take it so my cortisol or stress won't reach gasket-blowing levels on every session. To avoid stress, I sometimes go 30+ days without restarting SharkCAD unless it creashes, or if I get past 5 GB or RAM usage and the app seems sluggish. Thanks) Thanks
