Hi,
i Don't know this is the right topic.
since today when i select some parts to move them together with gripper to the left some of them, not all, snap away or stay at the point.
anybody got an idea?

Hi Flori,
I got that too, a few years ago and it was due to the links between the parts...
I got help from Tim but I can't remember what he did.

Hi Flori
I'm not fully pro on modeling, but some techniques I use for this.
Sometimes when this happens. I just select all ctl C, copy and click on screen where I want it, CTL V to paste it there when this happens.
The resolve links and remove links tools can help.
Remove links can simplify and change your history tree in the concept explorer under entities, so be careful also perhaps duplicate the file or object and move them between drawings depending on what you are doing.

Hi Thanks MaiFy, that helped. Since the Assambly is bascily Ready the remove links was fine. Yeah i use Copy C, Copy V also but than i need a reference point to makes it easier. thanks again.

I have never used the Gripper; that tool was definitely not made for me. Instead, I prefer the good old Translate Tool. It is the best option for me, along with other tools like Rotate One Point and Rotate Three Points. They allow me to handle even a longer 'History' and linked objects without any issues.
