I am thinking this has got to be a bug in the program. When I tried doing 3d views with the MTS to show a phong or gouraud view, my viewports don't show it correctly. I am sure someone here has encountered this.

I show the polyline view, and the phong view of the same exact sheet that I print in the pictures.

Thanks,

Sam

I have sometimes also such half drawings with phong or gouraud, but this errors will be not printed and will be fixed after zoom using. This problem i watched only on bigger projects with many parts.

for OpenGL problems under Windows do a driver update of the used graphics card ("Win+R > dxdiag") first. If using a lame integrated solution (e.g. intel (U)HD series), you might want switch to a dedicated nVidia GeForce GTX/RTX graphics card too, at least if a desktop system.

no way under macOS, drivers and hardware from Apple only.

It's not graphics. I reported this ages ago. The shading seems to be converted to an image. You see this when you load it in certain pdf software. When the image is removed you can see what's underneath it. The image blocks off what's next to it. Make sure view boarders do not overlap and you may get away with it
thanks 1 user thanked UGMENTALCASE for this useful post.
