Would it make sense to allow some of the following? — de-shell a solid body — remove inner-shell edges of a shelled body — (other than scale) deep-select one or more inner edges of a shelled body and move push/pull/extend/retract, in effect creating a differentially-shelled body, meaning the left/right sides could be shelled to, say, 22mm and the front/back to 15mm, the bottom to 30mm, and the top to 28mm — make a scaled surface that is extracted from a shell remain properly distant from the parent solid ZeroLengthCurve

I think you can in the inspector. Pick the shell in the concept explorer and you get a list of faces in the inspector. Select a face and then change the size. Some of those features are clunky as so I could be wrong there

You can modify|thicken an inner face of a shelled solid, it stays part of the parent solid as an additional parametric feature, you can also offset or move but those give differing thickness results if the face isn't planar.

Thanks, UgmentalCase amd 2Murray, I neglected/failed to remember that, thanks to, on deep select and being unable to separate the cutter from the solid, and just getting a error message. I was so transfixed with the initial issue of the cutter joing/fusing with the cut that I completely forgot that (for the good/achieved shells) I needed to select the whole body to get the Data tab to ahow the shell values, whereas simply single-clicking the body (so far as I've experienced) only shows minimal, other info on the Data tab. (Some of that I did around December, but after spending months on other things, I lost that misvle memory.) It (editing the shell values) indeed IS a neat functionality. It lets me edit the compartment side shell to be, say, 22mm, and then fwd/aft bulkhead to be 11mm, to compensate for, after slicing then shelling, the adjacent bulkheads being 2x as thick as needed/desired. Again, thanks! ZLC
