http://forum.punchcad.co...mp;find=unread#post38763 I had this too. I did eventually get it to work in v11. Can't remember what I did though. Maybe saved the file twice flatten the views in one of them and pdf printed it. Changing the properties of my views changed the outcome for me as well

Thank you,
i exported the file to ViaCad 10 and ......
the same file is printable with ViaCad 10 pro.
AND,
can you imagine, it is printable out of ViaCadpro 11 now also.
So, it semms, i should save the file, close ViaCad 11 and reopen it.
Funny

Unfortunately it happens quite often. I always take a few steps before I make "Model to Sheet" operation to prevent this (and many more) issue: 1. Select entire model and resolve all links 2. Copy selected model (with a gripper) and move it quite far. Delete original model. Then select the copied model again and move it back to original position (Fortunately you will not miss layers separation). 3. Compact the whole file. 4. Save, close and reopen again 5. Start MTS I also flatten all views when I finish it - it is the only way for me to live with this entire MTS module. Magicart

o.k.
in my case today, it worked. shut down ViaCad 11,
reopen it the
next day
and
...print... HaHaHa
but i always had problems to prind 2d drewings, all over the last ViaCad versions i worked with.
i always had to make a surface...
but now i'm not so frustrated anymore, because some mor users have problem with this issue.
I thougt, it is my fault or my system is stupid.

MTS module and flatten ?

MTS module it's a "Model to Sheet" procedure - when the whole 3d model is projected into 2d layout. Flatten view - it's a function where Your drawing is no more associative with Your 2d model and all changes in the 3d model do not change your drawing. In ViaCad "associative drawing" is just an "active window" on your sheet, what is represented by the red frame around the drawing. If you want to "flatten the view" just click on the active window with Your right mouse button and click "flatten the view" from menu. Have a nice day Magicart
