Can I create my own decals? (#811)

I am creating an architectural rendering that is approximating a patterend frosted vinyl on glass. i would like to know if i can create a decal with the pattern and apply to the curved glass in my model. im hoping that i can create something in photoshop or illustrator to import. thanks. jonah.

Jonah, Yes you can. You will end up making two 1" square images, one with your pattern or design and the other as a red mask, both exported as "bmp", but you need more detail than I am prepared to write up. I don't see this in the manual. I could probably write something up but I assume this is in the documentation somewhere. Tim, Can you help? Anybody else? Art Mac/intel
