Had my computer crash and with it, took my records of my Shark authorization and serial number codes. After reinstalling Shark v7 I now need to reactivate it.

I emailed support but have not heard back. I sure could use those codes sooner rather than later.

I would suggest Punch should set up user accounts like Luxology, a user can login, download what software they had purchased, any updates and generate license codes as needed.

as far as i know, with your serial and the registration node shark's registration process gives you, you can generate the authorization/activation code online, no need to email them unless you went run out of the 5 chances that you have to do it.

Had you try to go through registration process?

I did receive the codes. The issue was I lost both the Serial number and Product code, so I could not use the Authorization process. Once I was sent the info, I was able to generate the auth code. Like always, the crash occurred on a Friday and I had projects to work on over the weekend.

I would still like to see a better process of accessing updates and purchased software similar to what Lux does. I have version 7 of Shark but I do not see any info on the web site if an upgrade is available and at what cost.

Thanks to Todd from Encore for sending me the info!
