I need to remove VC8 from one computer and reinstall it on a new computer. What is the acceptable procedure?

I tried the FAQ link. The search parameters returned (0), read that zero,results.
My searches through the posts have yielded no help.

Normally I would uninstall the application and then reinstall it on the new device. But last time I did that with another application, on reinstall I was informed that I could only have it installed on a single platform. It took awhile to get "their" records corrected. So now I am gun shy on trying the old school methods of transfer.

That will work fine for ViaCAD, unless you bought it from the App Store. You will need to re-register on the new machine.
