Imported jpg files are not printing to paper or pdf files. ViaCAD v7

Tried with 2 different jpgs...

Imported as a texture or as an image in the file?

(importing as a texture we are aware as a bug)

Imported as an image file jpg. Will not print to pdf or paper.


On a side note printing 3d object that are shaded to pdf (no texture) it always outputs the image like it is printing meshes, is there anyway to control this?

Can you send us the viacad/shark file? We just tried with some samples. Might be size related on the imported jpeg.

It is printing as meshes which are sorted. Ryan and I were just talking about some ways to improve this.

Hi Tim


Images that are loaded, transparency turned on do not print after the file is closed the program is closed and the file then reopened.

The transparency on PC does not seem to be working as I think it should but maybe I have the wrong impression on how it should work?

The other thing I see is that when a picture file is imported it comes in with the scale with view checked, but it is not scaled with view, so when you uncheck the image scales with view, like the toggle is switched on the check box.
