I am just insisting : Until March 13th, I was able to upload anything to this forum. Then it got broken. The browser sends a request to the Punch server and never gets an answer. After a while I get a French message saying "the server connection has been reinitialized during page loading - The site must be temporarily down or overloaded, please try later...". Every time, whatever file size or format :o :( On any other forum, I can upload without problem, including old CSI forum. The issue must be on the Punch server. Is there any computer geek at Punch to look at that ? JL

Trying Firefox 2, Mac OS X...
... works. Although I tried a 3D-PDF before, which exceeded the PDF file size limit.

>>Until March 13th, I was able to upload anything to this forum. >>Then it got broken. I'm not aware of any changes to the attachments feature of the forum since the forum has come live. Today I went and increased all attachment sizes to 10MB. How big is your file and what extension type is it? Is it possible its related to your internet access?

Thanks to the German users, I see it's not due to a damaged Atlantic cable  As I previously said, whatever file size (16kb) & whatever format (zip, jpg, CU, PNG,...) is the same. It maybe my internet access, then I don't understand why only this forum is having upload troubles. JL

I found the cause, yet not the reason :
My internet connection is "free.fr" and this forum is obviously incompatible with the Freebox (ADSL modem pack including TV & telephone).
I replaced the Freebox by an old Zyxel modem, and it now works correctly.
As far as I know, only the Punch forum is having this upload issue with the Freebox.
Firewall ?
