Select all text
Change text size in objText menu...
--->It doesn't work!
I need to deselect tool and select back again.

The text it self is not recognized until you are out of the text input process. You will notice that the text does not turn the "Selection" red color until you click outside the Text Box. Ergo you must click outside the text box to edit the text. However, you do not need to deselect the tool.

Todd .. changing the size of a text box is less than optimal .. you need to turn the points on - you get 2 - then you need to move one of them

The mental association with a box isi lost

Why not have the box reappear when it's selected .. that way you know it's box text - and you know instinctively how to edit it's size ?
