Make an helix
Sweep a profile on the helix to make a thread
Select all
mirror about a line perp to the helix center line
---> the helix stays correctly twisted, but the solid thread is inverted.
It won't screw in a nut any more

JL

I still cannot attach anything "server connexion reinitialized during uploading"

As well as posting repeatable bugs here .. these need to go [email protected]

Sure you know that

That way they go into Tim's shiny new system .. and hopefully can't get passed over in V5

Thanks Jol,
I get your file OK, I tried to send it back.

As the old forum is still performing fine, I posted a screenshot there :

Whatever
- file type,
- file size,
- browser,
- computer,
-----> upload on this forum is just freezing

Anyone else to try in France, or in Europe ?

Thanks,

JL

Hi JL,
It might be a Mac issue, file seems to work OK on Win XP.

JL, The PC file is on the "Old Forum", having trouble with CU and .Zip files uploading on this forum.

Is your ability to post to this forum based on your "member" status. Looks like Senior Members have no problems while all the plebeian Juniors and regular Members cant get things up (here). Perhaps there is something the admin can do to change user privileges.
