Hi

Questions about the attached file :

1) Why is it possible to skin red profile to green profile and NOT green profile to red profile ?

2) Why is it impossible to skin the two green profiles ?

3) Why is "skin with guides" doing anything except following the guides ?

4) What is a "cusping" surface ?

Thank you,

JL

5) Why is file uploading still broken on this forum ?

The forum accepts c2d, c3d, cu, vc3, and zip for CAD file formats. What was the extension you are using?

Hi Tim,
With Safari, I click on "manage attachments"
On the specific window, I choose a file and click on "upload"
Then I get the message : --> "Uploading File(s) - Please wait"
At the base of the window : --> "waiting for forum.punchcad.com..."
One hour later, it still hasen't moved.

I tried .CU, .zip, .jpg...

Important (maybe) : When I try with Firefox, I get this message after 10 minutes (in French) : "The connexion with the server has been reinitialized during uploading of the page, the site may be saturated, or unavailable, try later..."
Thank you,
JL

I'm using Safari as well to upload files. Don't forget to hit the "Close Window" at the bottom of the screen after you've upladed the file. I believe the UI lets you add multiple attachments until you hit the Close window.

Maybe a server time out issue.

It worked fine in the past with both Safari & Firefox.
When I click on upload I just get a rotating cursor and nothing else.
Closing the window doesn't help...
Others reactions please,
JL

How large is the file you are trying to upload? Will a small file work?
