With consumer goods design, we cannot show anything recent due to confidentiality.

This product has been entirely created with CU (from tool design to patents illustrations) and it resulted in a fantastic commercial succes : 35 millions units produced over the last 3 years.

The company is Coty Beauty and the brands Rimmel and Astor are sold in most European countries, Asia, and in the USA (Wal Mart).

The curve in the Grip/Handle is ergonomic and stylish.

Well done.

For the ones that are not familiar with mascara, here are pictures to learn how to use it.
Among the experimental pilots for the tests were Monica Bellucci and Kate Moss:)
Now you understand why we sold millions...

Jol,
Did I say anything wrong ?
Before a launch, we need experts to test, I mean, like for a plane...

Hi Kmurray,

For patents illustrations, I do simple screen shots of 3D models, setting the background to white and the components to white or grey.
Phong display with black edges gives best views.
Be careful to stay highly contrasted.
"Soft tone pictures" may be rejected in some countries, as they want it to be perfectly printable on a vintage Xerox photocopy machine ...

The screen copies are fine tuned with Photoshop, and pasted in a Page file.
I couldn't find a better soft to add numbers and Bezier links.

Hope it helps,

JL

In the past I used to do it in 2D, and had the reference numbers added by my patent agent : $$$
