This new imput device is "User configurable for virtually any application"...
Does it include CU ?

I think this is the Logitech version of the 3dconnexion Space Navigator (they own 3dconnexion). Some differences, but mainly, I think Logitech has better distribution channels than 3dconnexion. It does have a few buttons on it that would be useful.

From their site:

Macintosh

* O/S: Mac OS X V10.4.4 or greater
* Processor: PowerPC® or Intel® Core® Processors
* Language: English only
* Memory: As needed by your application
* Disk Space: 10 MB of free disk space
* Port: Available USB 1.1 or greater port

I don't know what CU supports in OS X.

The problem with the Navigator is that the drivers are not UB's, so although it is 'supported' on intel hardware, it will not function with programs that are intel native - like CU. At the moment if you want to use the Navigator on an Intel Mac you have to run CU in Rosetta and get a huge performance hit. So yes, it is supported, but not in a practical way.
