Here's a small file with a simple profile (exported "selected only" from a larger file.

All the bugs listed below have been mentioned at least once on this forum.

-1 The small preview icon does not reflect what is actually in the file. It shows something that was not exported.

-2 Gosh! 60 empty layers that I didn't want to export. Trash, Trash...

-3 Try to lathe the profile around the green line. A dialog says "Curves not planar", which is wrong - They are!

-4 See that there is a small gap in the profile. Too small ! The trim corner tool doesn't work on small gaps..

-5 Bloody hell, once again I opened the exported file without closing the original one. When I closed it, I lost all the menus, all the tools, and my unsaved work.

I think I should have posted that on the Beta section...

1/ Agreed that it doesn't seem to show what appears when loaded. Is it something from one of the other layers?

2/ Have you tried the Compact... option, under Menu->Edit?

3/ That message is a bit obscure, but it does Lathe OK once you've filled the gap in the profile.

4/ That's true, it repeated for me too. You could use the Apparent Intersection Snap, for now.

5/ I couldn't try that as I'm only running the Demo version.
