First of all, since this is gonna be my first post on this forums, I'd like to thank Tim for this awesome software. Worth every penny.

On ViaCAD V8, I noticed that the dimensions would be wrong in some cases and I found that to be consistent.

That should be 100mm and not the value as shown in the picture. For now, the way I solve the issue is to backtrack, find the actual dimension, replace the text.

I've attached the relevant .vc3 file. Apparently it happens only on Right side view or Left side view but maybe it's on case-to-case basis.

EDIT: More details, just my hypothesis but I think because it's circular that it's causing problems. I attached some extra dimensioning I did to find out where actually it occured. That circle seems flat at the right and left edge, but the front and back edges are just fine. Oh, to differentiate from the first one, it's named v2.

I believe the problem is because it is a silhouette edge that you are dimensioning in conjunction with the "Polylines" method.

With the Polylines method, the silhouette edge is calculated on a facet representation of the underlying surfaces/solids. It's not accurate enough to capture the true silhouette for some view orientations.

I'm unable to crank up the precision in this case, so you may want to avoid dimensioning silhouette edges using this method.

In you have Shark, this is avoided with the "Precise Curves" method.

Ouch. I'll just deal with this bug for now. Pretty easy to identify when all your models are rounded to the mm or the very least, half mm.
