There used to be frequent updates to CU with bug fixes and improvements and there are still many issues that should be resolved by now given there has been a long time since build 660 was out. So am I missing a note on a later build + or when is one due?
Thanks

Hello Birger

660 (Service Pack 3) is still the current build but I gather that Service Pack 4 is on the horizon.

All the best

That's good news. I would assume the CU5 is probably early next year, both because of new operating systems on each platform (Vista and Leopard) and the need to finish fleshing out ViaCAD.

It would be nice to get a heads up on what major feature enhancements are planned.

I am bumping this thread; Havent used CU for a while, but had to check on some old files today and got a reminder of the whole issue of metric units versus inches and all...not exactly beeing reliable.

Set your prefs to mm or m, make a solid block or other, select solid, pull down verify meny and properties to assign some material properties to the solid and CU crashes !
Resetting CU user and main system prefs made no change.

Then set your prefs to inches, do exactly the same and the properties window will emerge, then change to SI units in the properties window and close, go back to CU prefs and change to SI units again.

It does work with this workaround, but this is not as it should be!

Any feedback appreciated.

CU build 660 UK.

Hello Birger

Tried to duplicate but no matter which material I apply I can't repeat your crash. Could you please private email me your crash log?

All the best

sent you the crash log; case is when gen prefs is set to metric, CU will crash when pulling down the menu and before you get any chance to apply any material.....

Fixed in all products. CU v4 SP4 will have this fix.

Any news on a build 661 or which build is now the current one? 664?

I know we used to get builds in between the service packs when issues had been fixed, but it seems there is not so much focus on the premier product any more, or ?

It's been seemingly very quite from the Punch team - they must be working hard on the next release...I'm looking forward to it!
