Tim, can we add a Preview function button to the surface and solid creation tool sets. This function is to show you a previs (light grey version) of what is being created before you commit to the command. If a surface or solid can not be created, return the error message to the screen. Jean-Louis, yes I'm still here at the Big C working in New York. Things are changing much do to the economic conditions. I do remember our meeting in Paris and our discussions regarding CAD, modelling, and rapid prototyping. Lyle and Ron have retired from the Big C in June. So, yes I have decided to try Shark FX and it's my fourth day learning the application. Are you testing the beta versions? How do they look? Good. For 3D rendering I'm using Brazil which produces some very nice glass bottle pictures. I have posted a few on my web page here. So how are you doing? And where are you working? Glenn

Hi Glenn, Yes, I'm using the beta and I see it as an "optimized version" compared to the commercial one. There are new functions and many bug fixes. Yes, there are still a few old & new bugs around but most serious things get addressed quickly after screeming... I think most people on this forum are using the last beta. I started my own business 2 years ago in "cosmetic packaging innovation". The name of the company is Cinqpats It is a small group of 5 people in Paris. One of them, a shark & Cinema 4D expert from Utah has been recruited on this forum (he moved to Paris with family)... We can exchange more details by private mails...
