Noticed ViaCad Pro V7 is up for pre-order. Wondering what the upgrade policy will be.

PunchCAD site list price for upgrading to ViaCAD PRO for versions except ViaCAD Pro V6.

Wondering the price to the new version 7 since I have V6?

Also does anyone know if the Import option for Sketchup files works in V7 of ViaCAD Pro.
Thanks

On the Home page it says that it's $99.99 to upgrade from all version of ViaCAD Pro and that's what I paid.

Martin.

Yes, but if you select "Learn More" from home page then select "Display Upgrade Options" it does not have an option to upgrade from ViaCAD Pro V6 to V7.

Martin, (or anyone) if you don't mind would you try importing a sketchup file (.skp), my main interest in ViaCAD was it's option to import sketchup files and this does not work in V6. Would like to know if it now works in ViaCAD Pro V7. I bought ViaCAD Pro V6 when it was on sale last December for $100, if I can't import sketchup files in V7 I have no reason to consider spending another $100 for an upgrade.

Here's a picture of a 6mb+ file I downloaded from the warehouse and loaded into VC Pro v7.
Works with up to Sketchup v7 files.

I am trying to upgrade from V6 pro to V7 pro, but cannot find the $99.00 option that your email to me advertises. Can someone give some help?

Thanks Jim

Perhaps press Ctrl+F5 to refresh the page?

Martin.

**Edit** Just seen that their website upgrade offer refers to VC Pro versions prior to v5, which seems a bit odd.
I upgraded by using the $99.99 Pre-Launch offer.

Thanks Martin;
The whole upgrade process seems odd. Does the right hand know what the left hand is doing?

Hi Redss
I am unable to import a sketchup (.skp) file in V6. First I was getting an error about some files not being found, after a few suggestion from The ViaCAD team that I followed I did not give any error, but it also did not display the file I was trying to import.
