Hi all --

Wondering if it is possible to reder to a regular Punch! Blue shaded version in one layer, and to a version with materials in another?

I think I am losing some detail in the smaller viewport by having the material present, but want it in the larger to show an overall 'look & feel".

thanks!

In the Inspector, when you highlight the part, there's a button "Use Object Color" under the Render tab. check or uncheck it.

Otherwise you might have to copy the parts in another layer with assigned materials.

Hmm is this a ViaCAD inspector or FX? I only get a materials tab - unless I am looking in the wrong place?

thanks

I'm in SharkFX. Do a pre-render with any material assigned. Sometimes that tab does not appear until you do a render, kinda of weird even though a material was assigned.
