Hi Everyone,

I am new to 3D and just purchased ViaCad Pro. Formally TurboCad user, but left due to cost of upgrades etc.. Anyway, I am looking to see if anyone knows a site or perhaps a book I could use in conjuction with ViaCad Pro so I can learn 3D cad. I have gone through the tutorials but they just show the minimum basics (entry level). I have an intermediate level of skill with 2D but all thumbs and blind level with 3D.

Hi Doc. Welcome to the forum! :D

Tutorials eh? Best thing to do is to ask questions, and we'll see if we can help. There's aren't really any external sites as all CAD is different, and none really follow any standards apart from their own. Fortunately you struck gold because as far as TC is concerned, Tim, the developer of ViaCAD and Shark was also the developer of TC for a while, so you should feel quite at home with the interface. :)

Sure Norbert, okay. But why edit my post and then insert your own comment within the one I've already posted? Why not just correct me and write this underneath? It feels like a bit of a slap on the back of my hand if you don't mind me saying. :rolleyes:
