Good morning everyone, this is my first post, thankyou Tim. We are making dwgs to send to our metal supplier to provide us with plate burnouts. We have made the drawings using our template and of course have the views scaled. When I 'export' a dwg, we can open it in AutoCAD but the dimensions are wrong (based on the scale). The largest advantage for giving them dwgs is they can just transfer the files straight to their burner software. So... Is there a way to export from Shark to dwg and have it measure correctly without having to fool around scaling the whole dwg?

Can you send me a small viacad/shark file where I can repeat the issue? Thanks Tim

Here are two files, one being the sfx and the other being the dwg I made from it.
When I made the dwg I: file - export - dwg/dxf - (format) dwg - (version) R12 - (File Units) inches - (selected layer with sheet view) selected only - OK
I would like to send this to the burners but without the dimensions, I just put those there for you.
Thanks for looking at this!!!

Hi Derek
The files you exported shows your geometry in a draw view window.
The draw view window scale is .25" so when you export to dwg or dxf it will export the part as scaled not full scale.
If you copy you draw views to new layer and change the scale to 1 and export the scale will be ok.
