I'm pulling my hair out with this software. I've reported many things to Punch since installing the updated V14 on a Macbook Pro (from my V12) back in November '23 and only one has been resolved - and that was the drop-down menus that would randomly prevent any selections.

Is it just me or is anybody else having issues with the following:

- Line or arrow tool (or any active tool) will randomly click on the drawing 'after' changes have been made (such as line weight / colour) in the inspector.
- Plan views suddenly disappear when adding lines and only re-appear when dynamically zooming in and out again.
- The content of deleted layers randomly re-appear in other layers when the file is re-opened at a later date. This content can only be manually deleted out of the layer it has dropped itself into and in some cases this can be thousands of lines.
- Outputting drawings to PDF can randomly be of really low line quality caused by some drawing content in the drawing. It is only by tedious trial and error of turning off of layers etc to find the offending item causing the issue. But there is nothing unusual about the item that is causing the issue but I have to leave it turned off to get a decent quality drawing out - obviously missing some items !
- I think the program has real problems handling drawing data pulled in from .DWG files - which in the real world, we have no choice but to use.
- Viewing models / drawing data in 3D are clipped so you can rarely see the whole model / drawing.

I've been using VIACAD on MAC OS off and on for many years. But this V14 is full of issues and there are plenty of other things I have to work around that are not listed above. I'm losing patience with the level of support Punch provide - it is token and ineffective. This is marketed as 'Pro' software and its very far from that. These need resolving - fast.

I had to go back to the original V14 (build 1616) because of so many issues.

I'd trial meshcam if I were you. I tried it and found it to be pretty awful. Spent my money on Estlcam and Ecam V5 instead.

Been using ViaCad pro 1645 everyday since I upgraded a month ago. It does seem to work for me. But when it does something strange. I go searching to see if someone else has had the same problem. And sure enough I usually find someone else has found the same strange problems. This one is a real bother. I get all my settings set in the preferences. I always like to set it with a nice light green background like the old drafting paper I used in high school. I have quite a few settings that I set for my personal use. Then at random times or different start ups. It just looses all those settings. V12 Didn't do that to often. 1645 has done it quite a few times now. Also been seeing some strange functionality when I start doing some heavy booleans and the going back and undoing things. It will sometimes show some geometry that is so messed up. Many times when that happens the work is just not even fixable. Personally I think V12 worked better than all of V14. But I can't be with out the gripper non uniform scaling handle. That tool is awesome. I do love you ViaCAD even though you do frustrate me.

Must add to this topic, i used to love this softwares since Concepts 3D days, but V14 has become so buggy that is turning useless,

I just upgrade to Sharkcad pro V14 about two months ago and is fuuuuulllllll of bugs: render lines disappear (completely), model to sheet is very poor, printing to pdf is not working on last build, several daily crashes, losting work, damaged files, some times turns this to a nightmare to use it

Honestly, I dont know if it worth to upgrade to V15, nobody seems to pay real attention to the fixes this so many mentioned bugs

As many users on this forum, hope the developers check this forum and realize the urgency of fix this issues
