Hello, I have recently noticed that when I start Viacad Pro Ver 14 with PowerPack I get a message box that shows "Calculating Curve display list..." It takes between 10 to 15 seconds to go away before Viacad finishes loading. This occurs when mostly when opening an existing drawings.

I have tried a number of Viacad Settings and Preferences, but can't seem to resolve this issue. I am using Viacad Pro Version 1623 (with the PowerPack) and on macOS Monterey. I have a iMac Retina 5K,2020 with a 3.8GB processor, 8 core i7 and 64 GB of RAM.

Any suggestions to reduce the loading time issue I am having would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same problem with earlier builds opening and saving files, download and install build 1638, fixed my problems.

Hello Larry,

Thank you for your message and help.

I did manage to download WIP build 1639 and installed it. I found there was same delay time (as per build 1623) for the message box "Calculating Curve display list..." opening an existing file. But after saving the file and then closing it, it opened up quickly. :-). Thus build 1639 seems to have resolved my issue.
