FYI We will be providing another work in progress update this weekend for ViaCAD, SharkCAD, and TurboCAD Mac (v14 Build 1628). The new build will contain several fixes for potential file corruption. Tim

That's interesting I have a key but no link. I filled out the beta form a couple of times.

I tested now v 14 because i got a 14 days trial Key. Test Time: 1 minThe Inspector Flickering while selecting lines are not fixed. In Stream Zoom Commands When marking lines by holding the Shift key and clicking on the lines with the mouse, and then using the In-Stream Zoom commands, the marking action is canceled and various tools, such as extruding, are completely aborted. In Punch!CAD v9 Build 1162, it was still possible to release the control key and continue marking after using the In-Stream Zoom. My suggestion: Tools should generally be combinable in at least two levels. This means that when I press a key combination, I return to the previous, unfinished tool that I had only completed 50% and can still finish it, even though I had used another tool in the meantime. I believe this is called nesting of features. In addition, I miss a function to jump back to the previously used tool, which may already exist. It's great that the view rotation and shifting work very well without affecting the use of the tools, and this even includes the change of the rotation center point. However, this is a very old feature, old but good :) My laser cutting and bending provider creates the sheet metal flat patterns themselves anyway, and they can handle the Imperial steps, so an update is not that important to me. I may publish additional test results in the future.

I'm using macOS b1627 and I've noticed after your post that the Inspector doesn't always show the Data for some simple objects like lines and circles, so you just see a blank screen, but sometimes when you click on the objects the Attributes will change, so there's a refresh bug or something going on with the Data screen updates, because if I click on the Attributes from the blank Data view when I have selected the object, and then go back to Data the values and display box is as expected. I don't see any flickering, just a blank info box, on simple objects (parts are usually updated OK).

@MPSchmied wrote "The Inspector Flickering while selecting lines are not fixed" macOS double buffers UI independent of the application. I see the flickering Inspector issue on Windows and checking... Tim

Been testing Viacad V14 build 1625. Super impressed. Seems like it just works much smoother. Dig that paraboloid tool,The scale along axis node on the gripper is so handy. And so stoked that mesh symmetery tool is working so good. Thanks Tim for making ViaCAD better and better. Definitely will be getting the upgrade to 14 and hopefully to the Shark soon. Thanks again. p.s I like seeing all the new documentation and cover's on the web pages. Looks nice.

It seems that the perspective in real-time rendering or work rendering is now working, and the visibility of the substructure through thin sheets is now reduced. Why is the view rotation palette placed at the bottom center in the preset environment? These buttons are pointless because they terminate the current tool, and these functions can be accessed using keyboard shortcuts and mouse buttons without terminating the current tool.
