I was requesting for WIP-Builds here:
http://www.masterviacad.com/beta/beta.php But i got only links to Builds of V.12.
And a Message: "NOTE: We are testing V14 in the punchcad forum with download links and new feature videos."
I have noticed that the WIP builds are sometimes much better than downloads from the Punch website. Therefore, I won't update without access to WIP builds.
I bet the glitches in the in-stream zoom commands haven't been fixed yet...
I'll wait for version 15. Will it be possible to upgrade from version 9 to version 15? At time is there a Upgrade from v.7 possible, so i guess it will be possible.
But without a test version o do not upgrade. Or i use then the Money Back Warranty. Because if some bugs not fixed, i do not upgrade.

Tim mentions a "SP1" for v14, based on WIP builds. -->
https://forum.punchcad.c...ts&m=41799#post41799 Beyond that I don't know the details. Having Mac and Win versions that get worked on at different times, makes some of the comments hard to follow. I suspect v14 SP1 will be Mac 1st, then Win. As for actual WIP builds for download, not sure. And with v15 already with the Dev team, how much focus is on "SP1" ?
All that said, this forum site needs to be split in two, one side Mac and the other side Win.

Currently we are working on a 1626 WIP for both Mac and Windows for this weekend.

I think with v15 the software will be more normalised across all platforms, I'm pretty sure Tim alluded to this in a thread recently, so I'd have to say why?

Have to say, or have to ask why?
VC/SC on Mac OS is different than VC/SC on Win64, in every regard. GUI's are different, control is different because of different OS, etc etc.
Some postings have issues that only show up on Mac OS, others on only Win64, etc etc.
Having to split the forum between Mac and Win64 just makes it easier to read or find posts related to the OS I am running. It's a pita to read a thread of this or that only to learn later the thread is related to MacOS and not win64, so it really does not apply to me.
OR
Users need to park in their sig the OS they are running VC or SC on, makes it easy to see asap what OS the post is related to, etc.
